Episode 133: Danny Saber Part 1 with Special Host Nick Egan

Updated: Jan 12, 2023

A big Merry Xmas and a Happy New Year from both me and Haydn and yes we're on a break and we will be back in the New year with more amazing guest interviews and much more.

This episode was fun to make with our Hounable Patron and friend Nick Egan, music video and creative producer to many including; Duran Duran, Oasis, and INXS.

He takes us through his top 10 INXS hits that have personal meanings to him and tells us more about his time with Michael Hutchence.

Our guest interview this week is with Danny Saber and wow we get to hear insights into how he got to work with Michael and how it also opened other doors for him in the music industry. Michael trusted Danny and we thrust that Danny will be able to soon let us hear the music that Michael wanted us to hear. Ahem!

Part 2 will be out on the 14th Jan 23.

This podcast and all of its episodes are the "One Thing" that "You Need"! Over the past year I rediscovered INXS, this amazing funk rock band. Haydn and Bee are enthusiastic and knowledgeable hosts who allow me to 'nerd' out on what made this Aussie band so global and unique. Thanks to you both! Loved this episode with Danny Saber who was so authentic in his memories of working with Michael for his solo album. Danny's matter-of-fact way of talking is so refreshing.

This was a terrific listen. It was nice to hear from Michael's friends (other than the band members) who genuinely care and love him. Michael was loved by many people. Thank you to Danny Saber and Nick Egan for sharing with the rest of us mortals.
